Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO's)
Career and Technical Student Organizations develop citizenship, technical, leadership, and teamwork skills essential for students who are preparing for the workforce and further education. They enhance students' civic awareness and provide opportunities for developing social competencies and a wholesome attitude about living and working.
DECA
DECA is open to students currently enrolled or previously enrolled in a marketing class. We are an international association of high school students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality and marketing sales and service.

FBLA: Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA strives to promote business practices through social and service events and through regional and state competitions. Our leadership team, known as the FBLA Officers, collaborates to plan all details and events. This year we're proud to be a part of a partnership with Idlewild Elementary School, where each month 15 FBLA members serve as both mentors and tutors to students at the elementary school.
Advisor: Mr. Sahd, Room 122. Meetings are on one Thursday per month in Room 127 at 2:25pm, usually on the 3rd Thursday of the month.Emails, announcements, and Facebook updates to members are available to communicate monthly meetings, news, and events. Annual membership dues are $20.00.

FFA: Future Farmers of America
FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. The FFA motto is "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, and Living to Serve".
Advisor: Mrs. Long. All students in FFA must be enrolled in an agricultural education course during the year to be involved.

NTHS: National Technical Honor Society
The National Technical Honor Society is a national organization whose goal is to recognize students who have excelled in their respective Career and Technical Education courses. If you meet the following criteria, you are invited to make application to the organization in the fall of your junior or senior year. Once students are inducted into the honor society, they will be responsible for participating in service projects and earning time toward school and community service hours.
Requirements:
* Juniors or Seniors only.
* Have earned an A in two CTE classes prior to your junior or senior year. Students will be responsible for securing a signature from their counselor to verify grades earned in the CTE courses taken.
* Unweighted overall gpa of 3.0 or higher.
* Students will be inducted in the fall their junior or senior year.
* Application fee: $30

SKILLS USA: Automotive Technology Club
Skills USA is a national nonprofit organization that helps students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. The club has a Regional Competition every February and a State Competition in March where students compete in their different trades. SKILLS USA Club is a partnership of students, teachers and industry, working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.

TSA: TECHNOLOGY STUDENT ASSOCIATION
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national organization of students engaged in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Open to students enrolled in or who have completed technology education courses, TSA’s membership includes more than 250,000 middle and high school students across the United States. The diversity of activities makes TSA a positive experience for every student.
